SAE calls the SD County lawsuit against Secretary of State Debra Bowen a BAD idea. Update, 01/22/08, Update 01/29/09
The lawsuit filed Tuesday, December 18, 2007, in San Diego Superior Court centers on a specific requirement that could force the county to hand count 10 times as many ballots as state law currently calls for and require the electronic voting machine company to foot the bill.

January 22, 2008: SD Superior Court Judge denies Writ of Mandate, lawsuit defending Diebold is denied!

January 29, 2008: California Appellate Court summarily dismisses petition to appeal. It's over!
